Podcast Update December 30th 2012

Finally cranking back on gaming casts slowly but surely.

Retro Gamer brings back reviewing old school games from the SEGA Genesis as well as from the Nintendo (SNES, Nintendo 64 and Game Cube... and eventually the Wii once the Wii U totally arrives as a new cast in the Summer of 2013.

Working now on a Nintendo cast featuring the Wii and 3DS in Nintendo Life coming soon, as well as Episode 2 of Retro Gamer (first SNES cast).

Versus! premieres

Finally got Versus! Episode 1 up for download! It starts off with the SEGA Genesis versus Super Nintendo with Bill Walsh's College Football and Batman Returns.

Next episode will continue the match up with Bram Stoker's Dracula and Jurassic Park.

Finally got a new batch of casts up so updates!

As of this cast 3DS Life absorbs DS Life and adds DS titles for review.

First Anniversary celebrations featuring talk of 3DS apps we have and want, and reviews of Animal Crossing Wild World DS and Pokemon HeartGold DS... which may need a frequent update since lots of new buzzworthy things happened between me writing the review and now.

Retro Gaming Life Mini 5
Review of Colosseum Road to Freedom for the PS2.

This Old SEGA Minisode 3
New modified opening, and an entire cast dedicated to new SEGA news in light of the restructuring.

New pre reviews of the first generarion of games (alphabetically, which means Aliens Colonial Marines (SEGA) is part of the episode coverage).

N5GR Ep 1 (April 27th 2012)
Phase 1 ends with review of Sam and Max Season One (Wii).
Phase 2 begins as I talk warm NES memories, and preview new series Versus! and its upcoming Super Nintendo reviews for May 2012.

Podcast Updates March 23rd

Brief update, bigger one tomorrow barring delays.

3DS Life Ep 16 should be out this weekend. Following up work on Retro Gaming Life Mini 4, Nintendo Five Generation Retro (N5GR) Ep Zero (NEW) and This Old SEGA Mini 2 begins this weekend.

The Nintendo summer schedule is already scheduled first notes wise. Go over to http://bignopoly.blogspot.com to check their schedule out.

Planning Tuesdays now. So far I know this...

- PSVita DLC Life should be launched, and monthly.
- Mini This Old SEGA should have 1 30 minute special.
- Retro Gaming Life Mini should be monthly.
- Gaming of the Damned Summer planned from May to August
- Possible XBox spinoff launching in September picking up where Gaming of the Damned Summer leaves off.

Scripting wise 40% is done... hmm... wrap up with LEGO Star Wars III and more of the GBA 10.

Unnamed Animal Crossing Podcast
Developing a possible Animal Crossing cast covering at first the classic original GameCube version, then adding Wild World DS, City Folk Wii and finally AC 3DS... stay tuned as it is developed.

PSP DLC Life Mini 6
Three part coverage of Arc the Lad Trilogy... see if we'll be launching PSVita at the end of this trilogy in May... we'll see.

Just about done writing it up, casting it and 3DS Life tomorrow.

Starting up scripting it later this week.

Barring another obstruction (dont they always happen when I am ready for a big release) I hope to release 4 casts tomorrow knock on wood. Stay tuned.

DS game acquisitions are terribly slow lately trading wise, so doing so half sized minis for awhile to get things going.

Developing minus cast to prelude PSVita Zero in May. Should be out Late February or Early March.

This time out its for expediency... can crank out casts on twice a month. Just about wrapping up. Going to do the same for The Game Boy Show and This Old SEGA.

Retro Gamer Episode 1
Premiere episode starting off with the Playstation 2 and the letter A.

Podcast Update for July 6th 2011

Writing the cast is coming along, but having zero time so far to even begin assembling the cast may delay it a week. Good thing there is a cast to substitute with it in case of emergency, but lets see what we can do all the same with it all the same. Knock on wood and all that, eh?

Of course any delays in this may push back 3DS Life... or I'll release that on time and delay RGBL by two weeks. We'll see.
